Our approach, essentially communicative, is based on the acquisition of practical knowledge for typical social and work-related conversation. We focus on general vocabulary useful for everyday situations.

NEW in 2010! From January 2010 a new method will be introduced "ALTER EGO". Alter Ego is a text which focuses on developng communicative skills. Each book of the text follows the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. At the end of each book, every three terms, you can asses a new level of competence in French by a DELF diploma. All teachers of the Alliance Française de Trinidad et Tobago are fully qualified in teaching French as a Foreign Language. Their teaching methods are permanently updated by training sessions, organized with the French Embassy, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and French Ministry of Education (CIEP, BELC).

AF Student card. (Please walk with a passport size photo when registering)
From 2010 your AF student card will give you acces to the library. You can borrow from over 3800 titles including:
- 500 titles for teenagers
- 230 titles in comics
- 120 titles in English
- over 150 French movies
